The KEY LIME COTTAGE is the “sister cottage” to the lovely Lilac Cottage at Diamonds by the Sea. This cluster of four jewel-toned houses on the beach are the most Unique oceanfront rentals on Grand Bahama Island!
Located on Churchill Beach in the Lucaya area of Freeport, Grand Bahama, this cottage is ideal for a girl’s getaway retreat, or family gatherings. If you need more space for your group, you can also book the Lilac Cottage, right next door, or Topaz Cottage which is just steps away.
Artfully decorated with original Haitian art and furnished with all the amenities you have at home, this place is perfectly poised for an effortless and memorable vacation. A second floor balcony off the Master King suite provides lovely ocean and palm tree views, and outdoor dining areas and a nearby BBQ grill make al fresco meals a breeze.
ACTIVITIES
Authentic and colorful beach bars and restaurants are within walking distance of the KEY LIME Cottage if you prefer a night out on the Island. You can also find watersports activities nearby and our beach is perfect for sunning yourself, or beachcombing. A car is recommended for exploring the island.
If you would like to plan day time excursions, we have fabulous Bahamian friends who can help you.

“A group of us stayed at the Diamonds by the Sea Key Lime Cottage in the Bahamas and we had an absolute blast! The property is super cozy with lovely indoor and outdoor spaces and you are literally steps away from the beach. The cottage has all the amenities you would want for any length stay (good Wifi, full kitchen, washer/dryer, etc.). This was our literal dream vacation.
Jenna from Open Air Places was super responsive and helpful, and Gladys the onsite owner was absolutely lovely too. I’m going to miss cracking open fresh coconuts on the beach!! Would absolutely recommend anyone to stay there for a fun and relaxing time!”

You have a secure, secluded location with great accommodations: a/c, internet, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave and all utensils and amenities you could need/want.
